Syria Medical Mission 2026

Our team of 30 doctors and healthcare professionals are now working alongside Syrian medical teams, delivering specialist treatment.

Supporting Syria’s Healthcare Recovery

Across Syria, thousands of people continue to face barriers to specialist healthcare following years of conflict and pressure on hospitals and health services. Patients with complex and long-standing conditions can face lengthy waits for the treatment they need, while healthcare professionals continue to work within an under-resourced system.

From 10–17 October 2026, Action For Humanity is delivering the second phase of our international medical mission. A team of 30 doctors and healthcare professionals from six countries is working alongside Syrian medical teams in Deir ez-Zor, Homs and Damascus, providing complex surgical procedures, specialist consultations, emergency and trauma care, and rehabilitation support.

Alongside treating patients, the mission is focused on sharing specialist knowledge, training healthcare professionals and strengthening the capacity of local hospitals. By working side by side with Syrian medical teams, our specialists are supporting immediate healthcare needs while contributing to the longer-term recovery of Syria's healthcare system.
