Lebanon Situation Now Critical

Recent escalation across the Middle East has brought no respite to civilians in Lebanon. Heavy airstrikes have intensified across the country, with the humanitarian situation now described as “critical” by the United Nations.

Displacement is rising rapidly, and humanitarian needs are increasing at a pace that aid organizations are struggling to keep up with. Communities already facing economic collapse and instability are now under even greater strain.

Across Lebanon and the wider region, including Syria, Jordan, Yemen, and Iraq, families are losing access to food, healthcare, and essential services. Action For Humanity and our partners are on the ground, delivering emergency support to communities in urgent need.

LEBANON COMMUNITY KITCHEN & BAKERY

In a country where over 80% of the population now lives in poverty, and nearly 36% in extreme poverty, your generosity brought relief to thousands of families.

Thanks to your support, we launched the Lebanon Community Kitchen and Bakery. A hub dedicated to serving some of the most underserved neighbourhoods in the country. The kitchen is a lifeline for families who cannot afford a hot meal. We served over 28,000 nourishing hot meals, freshly prepared and distributed with care.

LEARN MORE - COMMUNITY KITCHEN

Our community bakeries produced 200,000 fresh flatbreads, an essential staple for households across the region. These daily distributions provided critical relief and a sense of consistency in uncertain times. We also distributed over 2,000 WASH kits, each packed with essential hygiene and sanitary products. These kits were especially vital for women and children, helping prevent disease in communities affected by overcrowding, underfunded services, and economic collapse.
