Location: Canada (Multi-City / Travel Required)
Term: Temporary – Ramadan (24 nights)
Hours: Evening & Night Availability Required (Daily Throughout Ramadan)

About the Role

We are seeking reliable, trustworthy, and experienced temporary fundraising staff to support our Ramadan fundraising operations across Canada. This role is critical during nightly programs and events and requires full availability throughout the month of Ramadan.

The ideal candidate is comfortable handling collections, managing funds responsibly, traveling as needed, and representing the organization professionally in community settings.

Key Responsibilities

◾️ Support nightly fundraising activities throughout Ramadan (24 nights)
◾️ Manage on-site collections, donations, and financial handling with accuracy and integrity
◾️ Track, secure, and reconcile collected funds in accordance with organizational procedures
◾️ Assist with event setup, donor engagement, and on-site coordination
◾️ Travel to different cities or provinces when required
◾️ Coordinate transportation and logistics independently when needed
◾️ Represent the organization professionally at mosques, community centers, and events

Job Requirements

Mandatory Requirements
◾ Full availability for all 24 nights of Ramadan
◾️ Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
◾️ Comfortable driving long distances and late hours
◾️ Experience with fundraising, cash handling, donation collection, or financial management
◾️ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
◾️ High level of trustworthiness, accountability, and professionalism
◾️ Ability to work independently under pressure and time constraints

Additional Requirements
◾️ Willing and able to travel between provinces if required
◾️ Ability to rent a vehicle when necessary (meeting rental agency requirements)
◾️ Comfortable working late nights and extended hours
◾️ Previous experience with charities, events, or community fundraising is a strong asset
