We stand with communities when crises begin and remain long after headlines fade. In 2025, local teams delivered emergency response while supporting recovery and resilience, protecting dignity, and meeting urgent needs.

Standing with Palestine

2025 was among the most challenging years Gaza has faced.

With access restricted, infrastructure destroyed, and daily survival uncertain, local teams continued to work under extraordinary risk. Because of sustained support, more than 600,000 Palestinians across Gaza and the West Bank received assistance in 2025.

Emergency food parcels, hot meals, clean water, and medical supplies became lifelines. Community kitchens provided not only nourishment, but reassurance that families had not been forgotten.

As displacement continued, support extended beyond Gaza’s borders to displaced Palestinians in Egypt and Jordan, ensuring care followed people wherever safety was sought.

REACHING ALL OF SYRIA

In 2025, Syria entered a historic period following more than 14 years of conflict. Action For Humanity, present since the crisis began, did not leave.

More than 1.3 million people were supported through emergency response and long-term recovery programs, including healthcare, water systems, education, shelter, and livelihoods.

A key milestone was the opening of Al-Tahrir Village, which provided permanent homes for hundreds of families and supported returns to liberated areas. This marked a shift from survival to rebuilding, alongside the completion of essential services, including girls’ schools and MNCH facilities.

A specialist medical mission further strengthened recovery efforts. Forty-two international and Syrian doctors worked side by side to deliver complex surgeries, provide urgent care, and train local medical staff, strengthening healthcare capacity for the future.

Pakistan

Climate-driven flooding once again placed families at risk across Pakistan in 2025. When floods struck, Action For Humanity teams responded immediately, providing emergency assistance to over 44,000 people, including clean water and food.

Alongside emergency response, longer-term recovery work continued. Clean water projects reached more than 28,000 people, livelihoods programs and farmer field schools supported nearly 19,000 people, and health services restored dignity and care to vulnerable families.

Beyond immediate relief, programs focused on resilience, helping communities strengthen livelihoods, restore services, and better withstand future climate shocks and economic disruption.

Sudan

In 2025, Sudan continued to face widespread violence, displacement, and severe food insecurity. Access remained challenging, but local teams and partners provided support where possible and most urgently needed.

Action For Humanity focused on protecting dignity and meeting immediate needs through targeted food assistance, healthcare support, and community-based interventions for displaced families and vulnerable host communities. In a prolonged and complex crisis, consistent presence remained a critical factor.

Despite ongoing insecurity, support reached families facing extreme hardship, helping stabilize living conditions and reduce risk during a period of sustained crisis.

Supporting Communities

In Lebanon, prolonged economic collapse left families struggling to meet basic needs. Nearly 192,000 people were supported through healthcare, seasonal relief, and community kitchens and bakeries.

In Yemen, despite severe access and security challenges, more than 168,000 people received food, healthcare, and emergency support. Education programs reached thousands of children, helping restore a sense of stability during crisis.

Across Jordan, Afghanistan, Libya, and the United Kingdom, targeted programs ensured no crisis was overlooked and no community forgotten.
